in cooking up some ancient cosmetics recipes

 

She will be sharing her own tests and modern substitutions and encourages your own hands-on research into beauty aids of the past.

 

We will make various cosmetics from many times and locations including a black olive soap to wash it off and cold cream to nourish the skin. There will also be perfumes on hand to experience.

We are an international volunteer group that shares knowledge and encourages learning through participating in the arts and recreating the life of Ancient, Medieval and Renaissance people.

We are your local chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism.

Besides sharing information and providing demonstrations, we hold events and activities that include universities, workshops, and camping.
